I am so miserable....

man this past two weeks has been awful...


about two weeks ago, i started having a few stomach problems, nothing big (nausea, upset stomach, diarrhea) i thought it was food poisoning and that it would run it's course in a few days. I could never been more wrong

what started out as a thought of having food poisoning has developed into an all out medical situation.

after this lasted about a week, i went to my family doctor. he ran some tests.
i've lost 11 pounds in the past two weeks, i have blood in my stool, and my white blood cell count is normal.
the white blood cell thing although it sounds good, is actually bad. it means that if there is an infection, then my body isn't fighting it.

he sent me to a specialist...

so i saw the specialist yesterday...he did a few more tests (if you know me, ask me about the practitioner)
anyway, all said and done....he doesn't know what it is, so i am having a colonoscopy on tuesday morning. i am not looking forward to that. if you don't know, it is a procedure in which they insert a camera into your rectum and proceed to explore you large intestines for any anomalies.

and to top things off, i just threw up, i haven't thrown up during this whole situation. anyway...please keep me in your thoughts and prayers...this is a frustrating and scary time for me.
